Special Services

Family Sunday

Family Sunday is the first Sunday of the month. Children join the adults for entire Weekend Service. Students ages twelve and older are provided opportunities to volunteer in various positions during the service. Other features of this event include a Bible Trivia Question, Kids Song, Game Wheel with Prizes, as well as Busy Bags and Praise Page activity booklets. All believers–whether a regular attendee or a first time guest–are welcome to participate in Communion. If your family needs a break during the service, there is a space just for you called the Family Room (located just outside the sanctuary).

Christmas Eve Service

The Christmas Eve Service is held on December 24th from 4-5pm. Join us as we sing carols, enjoy musical performances, and hear a timely Christmas message. We hope to see you and your family there!

Vision Sunday

Vision Sunday takes place in April of each year during the Weekend Service. We review the core mission statement of our church, what we’re about, and why it matters. We then summarize everything accomplished the past year, followed up by defining new goals for the upcoming year. This event is also a call-to-action to get involved in ministry, volunteering, outreach, and classes for spiritual maturity.

Feast of Trumpets Celebration

The Feast of Trumpets Celebration is a special service held to help us look forward to the second coming of Jesus. This event is held in the Fall and is a modern observance of the festival of the same name. This event was given by God to the people of Israel in the Old Testament. The celebration is meant to encourage, inspire, and re-focus our attention to God’s prophetic work throughout history.

First Conference

As we aim to start each year with a renewed focus on Jesus, we host a showing (video recording) of the First Conference from Gateway Church. This event featuring a variety of speakers and takes place on both the first Sunday and first Wednesday in January.

Annual Financial Meeting

We believe in full financial transparency with the tithes and offering. Every year in either January or February we hold the Annual Financial Meeting, after the Weekend Service, where a summary of the year’s income and expenses is shared for anyone who is interested. There is also a time for questions.

Christmas Decorating Party

On the first Friday in December we hold the Christmas Decorating Party. At this event, seasonal music is played, refreshments are served, and the congregation helps decorate the church building in preparation for the Christmas season!
